About the position

The role of the Application Developer position is to deliver a central User Interface (UI) solution for the company's Management Advisors to deliver increased value to our members using the suite of Microsoft's PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Dynamics Flow, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations on the platform. This role is designed to be performed remotely as a full-time, salaried W-2 position, with a target compensation between $75,000 and $100,000 (including available monthly bonuses).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the project team to complete Application design build for a single-point User Interface (UI) to increase the User Experience (UX) from existing application software and processes.
  • Provide technical input into the development of UI features, including API and cross-platform compatibility for a seamless operation between design elements
  • Complete assigned design and build tasks independently within the project goals, design specifications, and deadlines.
  • Independently interface with our internal technical consultant and other developers to ensure new UI interfaces with existing data and technology stacks as required.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associates degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)

Work Experience

  • Three (3) years of Application Development experience using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate)
  • Three (3) years of experience using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL
  • Experience integrating various APIs into the design build with seamless operation
  • Experience with integrating dissimilar data and technology stacks for a cohesive User Experience (UX)

Required Software Experience

  • Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps, and other programs in the Microsoft software suite
  • Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Asana

Preferred Software Experience

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert certification
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification or experience
  • Microsoft Azure experience
  • Proficiency with other programming languages

Other Requirements:

  • Able to analyze requirements and design feature implementation to provide accurate time and effort estimates
  • Proficient knowledge of cross-platform compatibility
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Must be fluent in other Microsoft Office programs like Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
  • Must communicate project status, limitations, issues, goals, and other information with complete candor.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary Range

The base salary is between $75,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Monthly performance bonuses are available, making it possible to earn an additional $15,000 per year.
