runZero is looking for an Engineering Manager to help foster the growth of our frontend engineering team and be a key contributor to the engineering organization as we scale. As a people-focused leader, you will help the team achieve its goals by first and foremost helping its members achieve their goals. You will provide mentorship for professional and personal development, uphold and enhance our culture and values, and put people in positions that bring out their best. You will be responsible for ensuring the team’s timely delivery of roadmap features and help define, implement, and improve engineering processes that are well-suited for our remote environment.
Ideally, you’ve lived the (frontend) engineer’s life at one point but have discovered your passion for enabling others.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage our talented team of frontend engineers, recruit and hire new team members, and mature team processes as we scale
- Regularly provide candid, thoughtful, and timely feedback to direct reports
- Be responsible for timely shipping of frontend features, enhancements, and bug fixes, help triage customer support issues, and ensure the smooth operation of your team
- Engage with engineering colleagues and cross-department counterparts to ensure we enable our customers to succeed
- Put people first, lead by example, and manage with empathy
Skill You Have:
- 3+ years of experience managing an engineering team, preferably in a remote environment
- 3+ years of experience managing a team’s delivery and maintenance of a SaaS-first product
- Prior frontend engineering experience strongly preferred
Salary Range: runZero values transparency in the hiring process. According to our market data, we’re expecting this role to come in at a salary of about $200K-$240K plus stock options. We know that the talent market is always in flux, so please let us know if you believe we have advertised this role at the wrong salary band.
