About the Role:

The way we interact online constantly evolving and communication platforms are failing to keep up. Existing platforms offer basic features such as text and voice chatting, but in 2023, there are many more ways to interact online. For example, you could grab some friends and draw together, watch movies together, or even play a game of blackjack. Our client believes that communication platforms should enable online communication no matter the experience.

Our client is an intuitive and extensible social communication platform that enables third-party developers to build tools and features on top of the core infrastructure. This enables the platform to support any online community regardless of audience size or use case, as every server is customized to meet the members' specific needs. On the full-stack team, you’ll be responsible for developing their desktop client and various back-end services.

Expected Salary

$120,00-$165,000/year

Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and develop high-quality desktop applications
Work with UI/UX designers to craft and implement overall front-end experience
Build various back-end services to support global communication platform
Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience as a software engineer
Fluency in C# and .NET
Experience with Windows desktop development (WPF + XAML)
Experience with ASP.NET Core Web API

Desired Qualifications:

Prior experience with the Azure ecosystem
Experience with real-time communication systems
Experience with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes
Experience with Xamarin and mobile development
Passionate about gaming
