Requirements

What will you do?

As a member of the Software Development Team, the post holder will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining bespoke applications for Cooper Software’s clients and the innovative Cooper Software suite of IFS Extensions™ products. There will be a focus on mobile application development.

Working within Azure DevOps, maintain the backlog of projects to help balance workloads across the team and, over time, allow more accuracy in providing estimates to new projects/change requests.

As a member of a growing team, you will be supported in the use of Agile tools towards delivering solutions to our customers, as well as being developed in the use of our primary programming languages and with the latest version of IFS.

What you will need?

We are looking for someone who displays the following skills:

Essential

  • C# .NET

  • Azure DevOps

  • REST API

  • Experience with Xamarin / MAUI, for Android and iOS application development

  • ASP.NET

  • HTML

  • Javascript/Typescript

  • Ionic and experience building and deploying mobile apps

  • Exposure to Angular, preferably, but any other JavaScript framework (e.g., React, VueJS)

Desirable

  • Experience in Agile development methods would be advantageous

  • Automated Unit Testing

    • Experience with NUnit is preferred
  • Detailed Knowledge in Object Oriented Analysis and Design Techniques: UML

  • Experience with Oracle (SQL & PL/SQL)

  • ERP / enterprise software

  • Knowledge of cloud (Microsoft Azure)
